My formal education consists of a double honours degree in modern languages (French, German, Italian) from Cambridge University, followed by a post-graduate diploma in technical and specialized translation at the University of Westminster (then the PCL).

My working career comprises more than 25 years’ full-time experience of translating, including a number of full-time, in-house posts as head translator and more than 20 years of freelancing. I am also a member of various professional associations and writers' organizations and offer interpreting from Danish to English.
